Caste census literally means conducting census on the basis of caste. The caste census in Bihar is being conducted in 2 phases; The 1st phase starts from 7th Jan to 21 Jan and the 2nd phase starts from15 Apr to 15 May.
If we clearly analyze the history of caste census, the Caste Census was first conducted by the Britishers by giving the pretext of administering the British Indians effectively. But many social scientists have done research and claimed that caste census was another tool of the Britishers to propagate their divide and rule policy, divide the subcontinent on the caste lines and propagate their Aryan-Invasion/Migration theory.
The seeds of caste census are itself political in nature, which proves that the fruits of caste census will be more political.
