ABSTRACT

Intellectual property includes inventions, literary and artistic works, designs, and commercially utilized symbols, names, and pictures (IP). Intellectual property rights are granted for effectively implementing a concept. These safeguards encourage imaginative people to realise their goals and share their findings with the world. Intellectual property encompasses several types of protection, including trademarks, copyright, patents, designs, and geographical indications. The evolution of the Internet has made it possible to safeguard digital copyrights based on the display of uniqueness. In this study, we will examine the opportunities and obstacles the owner faces in relation to copyright infringement. Piracy refers to the unlawful distribution, theft, replication, copying, performance, storage, sale, or other use of intellectual property (IP) protected by copyright law. In addition, it contains entertainment industry-related solutions and the present situation. We will analyse various kinds of piracy and certain solutions and suggestions to prevent it in India with the help of different legislations.
