ABSTRACT
This analysis of Mediation Bill, 2021 discusses the ramifications of the Mediation Bill while emphasising the importance of the bill in the Indian setting. In India, the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, is the most important legal acknowledgement of mediation.
The goal of the Mediation Bill of 2021 is to promote, encourage, and enable mediation. The law has a number of provisions that should benefit the general public. The author emphasises that the Department of Legal Affairs’ action must be useful in order to reduce the pressure on traditional courts while also ensuring a quick conclusion.
